One of Eric Rimmington's continuing series of paintings of the London Underground.

'Rimmington's quirky vision captures the contradictions of a world where the Victorian era meets the 21st century; a place of light and dark, of straight tracks and blind corners, of age-old grime and space-age surfaces, of friendliness and not-meetings, that is, in Rimmington's paintings, for ever England.'
